Summary:

  Warehouse operator reports to Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving management. Responsible for loading and unloading of materials, inventory rotation, performs inventory validations and issues inventory to processing lines as efficiently as possible while following workplace safety and food safety guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates forklift truck while following workplace safety and food safety guidelines.
• Performs forklift truck inspection prior operating.
• Executes to daily tasks as assigned by leadership group.
• Performs inventory validations as assigned.
• Uses WMS to perform inventory transactions.
• Load and unloads trucks.
• Rotates inventory in storage.
• Issues inventory from storage to processing lines.
• Other tasks as assigned.

 Adaptable to a fast-paced environment; willing to remain flexible to accommodate changing business conditions, work requirements and scheduling needs.

• Detail oriented, able to focus on project or task at hand and able to deliver in an efficient manner while promoting personal safety and food safety guidelines.
• Able to communicate special instructions or any possible issues that may affect group during or after shift change.
• Standing/walking, crouching, stooping, twisting, balancing, leg/foot use, reaching, overhead extension, handling, pushing/pulling. 
• Performing General Physical Activities — Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. 

Position requirements:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Related Experience, Qualifications and/or Certifications:

• One (1) to Three (3) years of Forklift operator experience.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English language( e.g., Digital displays, written documents, or signs).

Work Environment:  While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is exposed to a cold (-10° to 36° degrees F) and wet manufacturing environment, the smell of chlorine, outside weather conditions, uneven walking surfaces, heavy machinery, forklift traffic and loud noise.
