ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES, OR JOB DUTIES – Describe the 5-10 major duties of this position in 
terms of the key responsibilities in order of their importance.
• Management and administration of HR policies and procedures
• Recruit, interview and select qualified applicants for open positions
• Administer the Seneca Employee Benefits program at the plant level
• Administer Safety and Worker's Compensation programs
• Conduct new employee orientations
• Conduct required HR/Legal Compliance training for all employees
• Ensure that employee files and documentation are maintained
• Responsible for completion/maintenance of Affirmative Action Compliance Plan
• Records and files documentation of employee evaluations and development

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES – May describe any additional non-essential functions.

• Conduct wage surveys
• Coordinate the employee evaluation process
• Conduct exit interviews and prepare employee separation documents
• Other duties as required or assigned

• Excellent communication skills - verbal, listening, written and computer
• Ability to maintain confidentiality. Act with good judgement
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Possess good interpersonal skills. Able to relate to all levels of employees
• College Degree and/or 2 to 5 years related experience and/or training in human resource functions

EXPERIENCE – Describe the minimum experience required in a specific job-related area (number of 
months/years and type of work experience beyond formal education).
• 2 to 5 years’ experience in Human Resources or related field
• Proficient in working with Microsoft Office products
