Agriculture Mechanics complete repairs during the processing season to meet production goals. The Agriculture Mechanic will monitor product flow during harvesting to ensure uninterrupted flow to the plant and also assist in harvesting with the harvester operators.  

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintenance of pumpkin harvest equipment and related equipment
• Responsible for maintaining an even, constant and sufficient flow of product of a quality that meets or exceeds company standards during harvest season
• Ensure that GMP’s (General Manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced
• Assist senior mechanics with repairs and maintenance
• Assist in moving equipment to different fields for harvesting where extensive periods of time is spent on the road/travelling
• Load/unload supplies as required
• Travel to out of state locations is required when pumpkin processing begins and product is being harvested in other states along with working 2nd shift during that time
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

• One (1) to three (3) years of mechanical/repair experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good mechanical repair and trouble shooting skills
• Willingness and ability to work in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license

Starting wage range based on skills, abilities, and experience from $26 to $28 per hour.
