Job Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Technician at our company, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks and documentation related to the safety and quality of our products. The individual must have reliable attendance, ability to work independently, the ability to work neatly and demonstrate a strong attention to detail. You will perform data entry with speed and accuracy and must be proficient in Microsoft Office for completing daily tasks. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, able to prioritize and complete tasks in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and varying work pace, all with limited supervision. Additionally, they should be self-motivated, trustworthy, and interested in long-term employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Tasks:
- Reviewing daily production records.
- Bean grading and sample gathering.
- Auditing and maintaining records for certain programs (Glass Register, Master Sanitation, etc.).
- Various tasks to include maintaining freezer charts, cleaning the lab, etc.
Communication and Reporting:
- Communicating issues and concerns with Payette Management.
- Correspond with corporate tech services concerning sample shipments and testing.
- Correspond with outside vendors on technical issues.
- Daily reporting on grading.
Adaptability and Collaboration:
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required.
- Strong attention to details.
- Demonstrated positive approach to job tasks, including excellent punctuality and attendance.
- Takes the initiative, proactively seeking opportunities to improve processes and to keep busy.
- Values accountability and strives for continual self-improvement.
- Undertake additional tasks as needed by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Proficiency:
- Forklift certification is a plus but not a requirement.
- Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office is preferred (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Excellent math skills for accurate calculations.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn:
- GEM inventory management system.
- Seam Scope, WeightMate, moisture analyzer programs
- Must be able to pass the following courses: Better Process School, Seam Training, Thermal Process Training.

Work Schedule:
- Availability for a Monday – Friday shift from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, with overtime as needed based on production and customer requirements.
