Maintenance Mechanic

Seneca also provides vegetable products to other companies under various co-pack arrangements.

Responsibilities:

• Inspection, maintenance, and repair of processing equipment to meet specifications and regulations.

• Maintenance of other areas.
• Appropriate budget planning and maintenance of cost control over equipment.
• Employee relations.
• Ensure that General Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), company policies, safety rules, and regulations are being followed and enforced.
• Supervision of seasonal production workers.    
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Good mechanical repair and trouble-shooting skills.
• Two year degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.
