We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage multiple categories across the company’s supply chain at the same time. In this role, the primary responsibility is to coordinate and oversee the sourcing and delivery of goods, services, and supplies to various facilities, helping to streamline and consolidate purchasing efforts. This includes, but is not limited to, managing categories such as forklift purchases and leases, corrugate, film, adhesives, and ingredients to ensure all facility needs are met. The individual will also serve as a resource to guide and support facilities within each category, conduct supplier audits, and participate in trials for new products.
Responsibilities:
Purchase Material Handling Equipment needs
Purchase Warehouse Packaging Materials and Commodities
Purchase Ingredients Contracted at a Corporate Level
Communicate Regularly with Suppliers and Audit Facilities for Compliance
Maintain and review current price lists, status, and performance of suppliers
Respond to internal and supplier inquires in a timely manner
Other projects as requested by Management
Requirements:
Strong industry knowledge in the categories of procurement
Excellent communication skills - both in person and via electronic correspondence
Strong computer skills
Experience in procurement or food production
College degree or related experience. College degree in Business or Supply Chain is preferred
