Seneca Foods in Janesville, WI is currently seeking a Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilites:

• General mechanical knowledge and abilities (mechanical repair and equipment maintenance).
• Repair and maintain buildings and equipment in case and label.
• Average knowledge of various hand and power tools.

Qualifications:

• Requires the ability to bend, lift, carry, push and pull varying weights up to 50 pounds, sometimes in awkward positions. Job requires extensive walking, climbing, and some crawling.
• Must be able to demonstrate sustained attention to detail when working with diagrams, prints and manuals.
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate with management and fellow employees.
• Must have the ability to effectively understand proper documentation and handling of paperwork involved with the departmental operations.
