What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responsible for checking all orders in GEM and preparing documents prior to shipping.
  • Schedule appointments and verify order readiness.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports of all activity regarding finished goods, labels/cartons, production, labeling out of stock, shipments, receipts, damage, salvage, and adjustments.
  • Monthly reports and reconciliations of brite stock inventory, salvage inventories and labeling costs.
  • Answer and direct phone calls with the ability to provide direction.
  • Assist Warehouse Manager as needed.
  • Process UPS shipments and receipts; and distribute/notify of receipt as appropriate.
  • Work closely with Inventory Analyst and provide back-up as needed.
  • Provide direction and assistance to the Shipping / Receiving Forklift Operators as needed.
  • Oversee driver lounge, including stocking as needed.
  • Safely operate a forklift including completing daily pre-operational checklist.
  • Load and unload semi-trailers.
  • Other tasks as assigned

 

What You Bring to the Table

  • Internal GMP/HACCP/BRC Training
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Internal certification to operate a forklift

               Any leadership experience

The Work Environment

Exposure to wet/humid conditions and extreme heat/cold. Some high noise levels and moving mechanical parts.  Exposure to brine, bleach, and cleaning chemicals.

Must wear proper PPE such as bump cap, eye and ear protection, gloves, respirator to ensure your safety as well as protecting the quality of our products.

Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves regular interaction with team members across departments.
