Seneca Foods Corporation’s Glencoe, MN facility is currently seeking full-time Mechanics to join our team. In Glencoe, we do it all! We have a full time Labeling department, Frozen Corn on the Cob Packaging department, Field Reps to meet with local growers, and many Mechanics who make it possible to run a successful production! The Glencoe facility focuses on primarily Canning and Freezing, Peas, Lima Beans, Sweet Corn and Carrots. Our Peak Production season typically starts mid June and wraps up mid November. During what we call, off pack, Mechanics are busy repairing equipment and making improvements for the next season. Seneca Foods offers competitive pay with experience and an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(K).

  • Inspect, repair and maintain machinery, and equipment throughout the facility
  • Trouble shoot, repair, and replace machinery as required
  • Read sketches and blueprints to determine layout of assigned work
  • Design, fabricate, weld, and install equipment as required
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and PM completed
  • Monitor equipment operation making any necessary adjustments
  • Ensure that GMP’s (General manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Must have good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong maintenance skills
  • Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization
