Labeling Team Lead

Labeling Team Lead

Seneca Foods in Gillett, WI is currently seeking a Labeling Team Lead to join our team. 

The Labeling Team Lead will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations of the case and labeling departments.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provides direction, trains, directly participates in the labeling line duties, and supervises label line employees.
• Set up daily work schedules for all personnel in the department.
• Verifies documentation completed by Labeling personnel is accurate and complete. Perform quality checks.
• Maintain proper communication with staff, management, and other shifts.
• Review weekly and monthly inventories of labels and boxes, adjusting as needed.
• Oversee inbound shipment of labels.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervision.

Qualifications:

• General mechanical skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and write the English language.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail and organization. 
• High school diploma
• 1 to 2 years of Labeling experience and/or leadership experience

Physical Qualifications:

• Must have the ability to sit, stand, reach, push, pull, twist, squat, bend, and lift to 50 pounds.
