Seneca Foods is seeking a Case & Label Mechanic to work 2nd shift at our Geneva location. As a Case & Label Mechanic you will be responsible for proper maintenance of labeling equipment such as repairs, over hauling and daily maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance checks of all label line equipment
  • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly to ensure standards are met
  • Maintain repair parts inventory
  • Maintain Repair Log
  • Assist other mechanics as necessary
  • Able to work rotating shift
  • All other duties as assigned 



Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • High School education or equivalent
  • Vocational or Trade School helpful, to include welding training
  • Three to 12 months experience required
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to make quick decisions
  • Requires good mechanical and trouble shooting skills
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Basic use of hand and power tools is required
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. required
  • Ability to read and write the English language
