Seneca Foods in Geneva, NY is currently seeking a Over the Road Class A Truck Driver to join our team.  Seneca Foods offers an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, paid time off and much more!  Help us make our Farm Fresh Goodness Great!

Responsible for the handling/delivering of brite and labeled stock in a safe, professional and courteous manner.

Responsibilities:

• Operate 18-Wheel Tractor Trailer Truck to deliver brite/labeled stock.
• Determine if product shipment agrees with Bill of Lading.
• Ensure that product is in good condition.
• Maintain log as to mileage, expense information, etc .
• Maintain all records per DOT requirements.
• Maintain proper housekeeping.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions.
• Good communication/organizational skills.
• Ability to read road maps/directions.
• Requires the use of judgement to plan, perform, and make decisions.
• Ability to use calculator and small hand tools.
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
• Must maintain a Class A Driver’s License (CDL)
• High School education or equivalent
• 1-2 years of related experience.

 Wage range based on skills, abilities and experience from $19 to $29.25 per hour
