Job Summary: Seneca Geneva is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Auditor/Technician to join our team on 2nd Shift (hours would be 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM Monday -Friday, some Saturday’s).

In this role, you will be responsible for auditing trucks and Case & Labeling lines, ensuring compliance with quality standards and operational procedures. Your attention to detail and effective communication with operators will be crucial in maintaining our high standards. This is

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and organize necessary paperwork in the QC Lab.
  • Verify running lines and operators by checking bulletin boards and updating paperwork.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of product cans, ensuring accurate labeling and expiration dates.
  • Record pertinent information, including timestamps, work task numbers, and product details, in compliance with procedures.
  • Validate data against computer systems and liaise with operators regarding order details.
  • Check pallet requirements and consult with the Clerk’s workstation as needed.
  • Inspect finished pallets for proper labeling, product counts, and quality.
  • Monitor production lines and operators to ensure adherence to procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Document any issues, communicate with operators to resolve problems, and report findings to group leaders.
  • Prepare and submit end-of-shift reports detailing findings and actions taken.
  • Perform production checks on seams, fill weights, and other quality parameters as needed.

Schedule:

  • Work five days a week, with the possibility of working Saturdays when Case & Labeling is running all lines.

Potential Hazards:

  • Risk of slips, trips, and falls; must be cautious of lift trucks and moving equipment.

Safety Requirements:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hair net, beard net, ear plugs, and safety glasses must be worn at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in quality assurance or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
  • Willingness to cross-train on production checks and quality assessments.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items as needed.

Other Duties:

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
