Seneca Foods Corporation is seeking an Enterprise Network Manager to join the Information Technology department at the Corporate office in Fairport, NY. The Enterprise Network Manager is the Manager of Network Operations and Staff. In this leadership role, the ideal candidate will take initiative to work collaboratively with the team. The Enterprise Network Manager establishes positive working relationships across the organization with day-to-day management of overall network operations and management.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex networks to meet the organization’s needs
- Day to Day Management of overall network operations: WAN, LAN, WLAN, Internet, Phone Circuits. Troubleshoot communication problems, monitor communications, escalate issues to 3rd Party engineering or Vendor support.
- Responsible for the Management of all overall network Infrastructure: Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless, Phones, Phone systems, Phone Gateways.
- Hardware maintenance, hardware, escalation, engineering including vendor support.
- Manage Network Operations vendor support for Monitoring, Software & hardware support, and problem resolution.
- Responsible for network security, network Infrastructure patching, and network cyber security
- Engineering Design, support, and implementation of WAN, Firewall, Phone configuration, and Network configuration.
- Work with Onsite teams to resolve remote issues and to install upgrades at Data centers, Manufacturing plants, warehouses, and offices.
- Manage upgrade projects, maintain technical documentation, and plan continuous process improvement.
- Responsibility for Telecom and Network Level of Service.
- Design, Measure, Monitor Network and Phone Level of Services.
- Define and Manage IT procurement Standards for Network Services and Network Infrastructure
- Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the concepts and practices in network technologies
- Management of Network operations staff and/or vendors.
- Troubleshoot Telecommunication problems involving phones, routers, circuits, and networks
- Coordinate hardware upgrades and maintenance for Network systems
- Recommend future Network and Communication strategy for the company
- Implement Telecom and Network Projects
- Engineer Telecom and Network Solutions
- Day to Day Support for Overall Network Operations
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- On-call as needed to support Network Operations
Qualifications:
- AS or BS in Computer Science or Business Management or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 6 – 10 years related experience.
- Management of technical staff
- Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 networking, routing, and switching.
- Familiarity with enterprise LAN/WAN environments and network automation.
- Strong understanding of Firewalls.
- Broad knowledge of computer science, networking, and phone systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
This is an on-site position at our Corporate office in Fairport, NY with occasional after hours/on call. Wage range based on skills, abilities, and experience from $130k - $140k annual salary.
