Seneca Foods Corporation in Dayton, WA is seeking seasonal production workers for its 2023/24 seed production season.
Seed harvest receiving - mid-June through mid-October.
Conditioning – late-July through late-January.
Packaging – early-October – mid-April.
This timeframe is tentative and can be affected by the weather and crop availability. Seneca provides safe working conditions, paid overtime over 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and on-the-job training. The expected compensation range for this position is $17.00-$20.00 per hour, depending upon skills & experience.
The seed facility typically runs 10 hours per day and 6 days per week, per shift for harvest. 10 hours a day 5 days a week per shift for conditioning and 10 hours a day 5 days a week for packaging. However, day/night shift, start/end times and number of days worked per week can vary throughout the year.

Job duties include:
• Fulfill various production line positions in our seed production facility processing vegetable seeds.
• Provide relief during other employee’s break periods.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety policies/procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
