Seneca Foods Cambria East, WI location is currently recruiting Seasonal Production Workers. Work will be available mid-June through beginning of October for Peas and Corn. These dates are tentative and can be affected by the weather and crop availability. Both first and second positions are available.
- General Labor – Positions require ability to move hands and arms to grasp, and manipulate objects. Some positions require ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Sanitation – Perform sanitation functions on a daily basis to clean the production and/or common areas.
- Provide relief for other employee’s break periods.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Positions require the ability to stand, walk, bend, sit, climb, move hands and arms to grasp and manipulate objects by pushing and pulling. Ability to spend long periods of time on one’s feet. Must have the ability to work indoors/outdoors in adverse temperatures and humidity. Some positions must be able to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
