Seneca Foods in Baraboo Wisconsin is currently seeking an intern to join the Tech Services Team for Summer of 2027!
Summary: Assists with a variety of tasks to support daily functions, improve efficiency and contribute to ongoing projects at the location.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with R & D activities involving alternative can coating materials, steel substrate thickness, and material tempers.
- Prepare, organize, and evaluate test packs used to assess shelf life, product compatibility, material performance, and runnability.
- Label, track, and maintain accurate records of test pack samples in accordance with established processes.
- Assist with the evaluation of customer quality complaints, including organizing and logging incoming complaint samples.
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing development of BRC Packaging Standards at the Baraboo facility.
- Work closely with Technical, Quality, and other facility personnel to support continuous improvement and food safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
